Mediums of Expression

As a matter of convenience, 7Junipers divides the kinds of cultural activity that are the subject of this site into seven general categories. These are:

1. Architecture and large public projects
2. Work in ceramics, metal, jade and stones
3. Literature and performance (including drama, music, film)
4. Paintings, calligraphy
   
5. Prints and photographs
6. Sculpture
7. Textiles, decorative arts, and objects of daily life

The plural mediums is used to avoid confusion with media, in the sense of “news media,” “print media,” etc.
